OnePlus One Officially announced: FullHD display, Snapdragon 801 just at 299$

After creating a lot of hype around the OnePlus One smartphone which is made by a new company run by ex-VP of Oppo, the company has finally announced its first flagship handset.

The OnePlus One is designed with minimalistic bezels and is held by a durable magnesium chassis. The device has a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p LTPS display from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by the recently released quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz along with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The handset is available in two variants of 16 GB and 64 GB.

The OnePlus One is available with only single SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity options. The device is equipped with a 13 MP rear facing camera with Sony IMX214 sensor with 6 lenses and a wide, f/2.0 aperture with dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The smartphone runs on a customized version of CyanogenMod 11S OS which is based on the Android KitKat version.
The OnePlus One is priced at just $299 for the 16 GB version and $349 for the 64 GB version. The phone will be available for purchase on the company’s international store from April 25. It will then be launched in 16 countries.
